The Rev. Dr. Ann Bassett has been with Peace Lutheran Church since February of 2004.  She filled several different positions at Peace but  began serving as our full-time called pastor on January 1, 2006.

Pastor Ann is the daughter of foreign missionaries and grew up in Panama, Central America.  She has a passion for central American countries and has been on several mission trips to Honduras and Guatemala.  She was a waitress, cook, math teacher, drug and alcohol counselor, construction worker and chaplain before becoming an ordained pastor on July 25, 2004.

Her first passion is to be a disciple of Jesus and to make disciples.  Her second passion is all things pink, seriously.  She has been married to Rev. Dr. Joel Emerson for 20 years.   Pastor Joel is a chaplain at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville.  Pastor Ann is an avid reader, she enjoys sewing – especially quilts for Lutheran World Relief, she likes to cook and spend time at the lake.

Mr. Trey Lewis is our organist and choirmaster and brings over a quarter of a century in experience to the task of worship leadership, music accompaniment, choir direction and much more.

Trey is also the the VP for Sales and Marketing for Ole South Properties.  He has served as an organist in the greater Nashville area since 1977.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Sales & Marketing Council of HBAMT; serves on Construction Career Academy Advisory Board for MNPS; is a Board Member of LAS Therapy and Development, an organization providing speech therapy and hearing aids to the underserved.

A native Nashvillian, Trey is married to Beth and has two daughters, Michelle (a senior at MTSU) and Jaclyn, who is married and living in Tacoma, WA.  When Trey isn’t busy with his many responsibilities, you’ll find him on his houseboat on Old Hickory Lake.

Mrs. Donna Witt is our gifted and loving nursery attendant who provides leadership and skilled nursery care each Sunday morning.
